How It Works
- Position vertically: Set the tool next to the plant. Unlock the slide hammer.
- Drive and cut in thirds: Use the slide hammer to drive the semi-circular blade down.
Work the hole in sections around the plant—insert, slight wiggle to seat, then drive. Lock to reposition as needed. - Switch to undercut: After circling the plant, change from a vertical position to a diagonal position to sever the remaining under-roots.
